WHAT IS MICRO-NEEDLING WITH RADIO FREQUENCY ?

Micro Needling with Radio Frequency is a technique that combines traditional Micro Needling with radio frequency heating that helps smooth out wrinkles, induce collagen and elastin reproduction and eliminate blemishes caused by acne scars dramatically more than with Micro Needling alone.

 

The treatment involves using tiny insulated needles to permeate the skin to a depth that boosts the skin’s ability to generate collagen and heal blemishes.The technician has the ability to control how deep the needles puncture the skin as well as how much heat is applied, and how long the heat is applied, therefore achieving the maximum results.

 

The combination of injury and heat will stimulate the fibroblasts and enter a repairing phase, thus tightening the skin, volumizing the dermis and eliminating the icepick, boxcar and rolling scars caused by atrophic acne.

Good candidates for Infini RF Microneedling are people who have minor lines, wrinkles, and blemishes that they would like to get rid of, or have issues with loose skin as a result of the aging process. They should be in good overall health and understand what the procedure entails. For optimal results, 2 - 4 treatments is recommended every 4 to 6 weeks.

Who Is Not A Candidate For The Microneedling With Radiofrequency Treatment?

People with these following conditions should avoid this treatment:

  •      Skin disease (excluding acne)

  •      Skin infections

  •      Bleeding disorders,

  •      If they are on anticoagulant medication,

  •      Pregnant,

  •      Keloid,

  •      Pacemaker

  •      Vascular implant or stent,

  •      Skin malignancy.

What Are The Risks The Microneedling With RF Treatment?

You may experience some swelling immediately after the treatment, which can go down with an ice pack.

​

There is very little risk of infection. Although the microneedles are sterilized a bacterial infection could be possible but are extremely rare and it can be avoided by proper aftercare treatment.

​

  •       Pigmentation could be caused by picking the skin and sun exposure following treatment.

  •       Folliculitis caused by increased block pores will rapidly resolve.

  •       Redness can vary from patient to patient and usually settles within 24 to 48 hours.

  •       Tiny marks could persist for a couple of days and dryness of the skin could persist for 3 to 7 days.

  •       A little bit of bruising is also possible it could take a week so to disappear.
