These are a few of my favorite things...

As promised, I am doing a post on just a few of my favorite things. If you want to get technical, my faces' favorite things. If you are one of the few people that have time in your life to read a blog post or two and you happen to stumble upon mine, well then, lucky you. At least today. My favorite things are amazing. Obviously.

If you follow the DFW Medical Spa on Instagram you know that I have been having some fun lately with some different products we have in the spa and some other products that we sell in the spa to our clients but can take home to have fun with.

I mean c'mon. Can you imagine a better job? Oh you need a face to "play" with, well I happen to have one of those so have at it!

My new, absolute favorite "Go To" Peel, that I can't wait to do again is the Signature Lift Peel by Image. We have had it on hand for awhile now but always like to try it on one of us after we get the protocol for the peel down. Four days prior to receiving the Signature Lift Peel, I also had my monthly Dermaplane done. And if you don't know what that is or have not had this done yet, where have you been? My face feels like the skin of an angel when I get a Dermaplane and for a solid couple of weeks my make up goes on flawless. A Dermaplane is a procedure where the Aesthetician takes a medical 10-blade and removes the top layer of dead skin (which is disgusting) from your face. Along with that, all of your vellous hairs (peach fuzz) are also removed. That leaves a smoother canvas for better absorption of your skin products and an amazing finish with your make-up.

I digress.

The Signature Lift Peel. I had no down time. I did not peel at all. On a scale of 1-5, it may have tingled at a 2 for only a second. My skin looked amazing. It looked dewy, fresher, brighter and do you know how hard that is to capture in a picture? I mean really. I have had two peels in the last 6 weeks, both of which have left my skin so bright and so fresh looking - but for the life of me, I cannot capture that in a selfie. And believe me I have tried. For all of you, I have certainly tried.

Proof I tried! Post Peel Selfie!

Needless to say, I can't wait until I can do the Signature Lift Peel again! It's really great to do right before an event you may have. Get your Glow On!!! <= I couldn't help myself. I like Cheesy.

I could mention the other peel our Aesthetician did on me just the other day but to keep this short and not completely lose your undivided attention, I will move on to my at home peel. However, if you are interested in the other peel they did on me or the process that it entailed you know where to find me!! Just ask! I will say it also brightened my skin, tingled ever so slightly more than the Signature Lift Peel (I did the Blade immediately before this one) but my skin may be even more brighter than last time and my dark scar seems to have lightened somewhat.

The Rejoice Radiant Infusion Collagen Booster Masque is seriously legit. I was given a sample to try from the brilliant creator of this skincare line. It took me a road trip with my best friend and a "spa night" in our hotel to figure out I wasn't using enough and that it actually peels when you apply the right amount. Once I figured that out I was desperately looking for anywhere on the tube to tell me that I could use this every night of my life for the rest of my life. I couldn't find it anywhere. Shocking, I know. The best thing about this masque is that it has several different application processes. If you want to just "spot treat" you can apply it to the under eye area, upper lip and neck and leave on over night. Wake up. Rinse. Drink coffee. There are also different directions based on your skin type. Sensitive skin, normal skin, oily skin, dry skin - no matter what your skin type may be - your skin can still benefit from this product. We sell this in the spa. I want to buy it all up. I was told I have to share. Whatever.

My last favorite product is from the same Rejoice skincare line. It is her PM Renewal. Great for both men and women. It's meant to go on overnight and has lightening, Vitamin C and A with firming peptides. I have been using this for 2 years now. It does not cause break outs or redness. It just gives my skin a better overall texture.

We will be carrying Jan Marini products in the spa soon. Although I am sure they will go fast, I have been trying out a couple of different things. I want to hold off on commenting until I have used the products the recommended amount of time. I'll get back to you on that one.

I am not here to sell any of this to you. I don't make money on any services or products you choose to partake in. I am here to give you my honest opinions of what works for me. What works for me may not work for you. And if you decide that none of it is for you - well that just leaves more for me. ;~)

I've seen it all. Lasers. Dysport. Botox. Juvederm. Restylane Lyft. Defyne. Silk. Hydrafacial. Microdermabrasion. Carbon Laser Peel. Collagen Bombs. Blueberry and Pumpkin Peels. If you ever have anything that you want me to write about or answer any questions that you may have, let me know. I am your girl.
